GOOD FAITH ESTIMATES AND NO SURPRISES ACT

Wondering Well Behavioral Health, LLC | Effective Date: October 12, 2026

Wondering Well Behavioral Health, LLC (“Wondering Well”) provides a Good Faith Estimate (“GFE”) of expected charges under the federal No Surprises Act when clients are uninsured or are not using insurance to pay for services. The GFE lists the charges Wondering Well reasonably expects for the services described based on the information available when the GFE was prepared. Wondering Well typically sees clients for a range of sessions. Until WWBH does an initial evaluation and starts working with you, it will not have a clear picture of your specific diagnosis, issues, and needs.

Your actual charges may change from your GFE if you and your Wondering Well clinician agree to different services, session frequency, or treatment length. Wondering Well will discuss changes in services or fees with you and provide an updated GFE when required. A GFE is not a contract. You are not required to accept the services, and the GFE does not guarantee a particular course or length of treatment.  If you have questions about a GFE, please reach out to Wondering Well’s billing contact identified below.

If you receive a bill that is higher than your GFE, contact Wondering Well’s billing contact. You may ask Wondering Well to review or correct the bill, request an updated bill, or discuss the charges with you.

If you are eligible for a GFE under the federal No Surprises Act and Wondering Well’s billed charges are at least $400 more than the expected charges listed on this GFE, you may be eligible for the federal patient–provider dispute resolution process. You generally must start the process within 120 calendar days after receiving the initial bill. The administrative fee for this process is $25. An independent reviewer will determine the amount payable under applicable federal rules. The determination is binding, subject to exceptions provided by law. You may continue discussing the bill with Wondering Well while a dispute is pending. Starting a federal dispute will not adversely affect the quality of care Wondering Well provides.
