CURRENT FEE SCHEDULE

  • Initial Diagnostic Assessment: $180

  • Individual Psychotherapy (60 minutes): $140

  • Individual Psychotherapy (45 minutes): $115

  • Court-Ordered Substance Use Assessment: $200

  • Late Cancellation (less than 24 hours’ notice) and Missed Appointment Fee: $140

INSURANCE AND CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY

Wondering Well’s current fee schedule reflects the cost of services to self-pay and uninsured clients and clients using out-of-network benefits.

Wondering Well is not currrently in-network with any insurance plans. Please continue to check back in the next few months as insurance plans will be added.

At this time, Wondering Well is considered an out-of-network provider for all insurance plans. Clients using out-of-network benefits pay for their services upfront and then submit a claim for reimbursement under their insurance plan. Out-of-network services are typically reimbursed at 50-80% of the session cost, after an out-of-network deductible is met.

Wondering Well does not guarantee reimbursement through Mentaya and is not responsible for an insurer’s decision, processing time, or payment amount. 

SLIDING FEE SCALE

Wondering Well offers a sliding fee scale to a limited number of uninsured clients based on household income and household size. Sliding fee arrangements are subject to availability and require prior approval. The sliding fee scale does not apply to insurance copayments, coinsurance, deductibles, late cancellation or missed appointment fees, or court-ordered substance use assessments.

GOOD FAITH ESTIMATES AND NO SURPRISES ACT

Wondering Well provides a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges under the federal No Surprises Act when clients are uninsured or are not using insurance to pay for services. The Good Faith Estimate is not a guarantee of the amount that will ultimately be charged. Actual charges may differ when the scope, frequency, duration, or nature of services changes or when additional services become clinically appropriate or are requested by the client.
